From research and culture to advocacy, every project we do serves one purpose: making Ukraine visible and heard in Germany.
The immense damage to Ukraine’s and the world’s ecology caused by the Russian war remains an underreported topic in international media. Vitsche takes action to inform people about the environmental disaster unfolding in Ukraine due to Russia’s war and occupation since 2014, and especially since the full-scale invasion, as we believe knowing the issue is the first step towards tackling it.
As part of this campaign, we reached over 10 million people through social media, banners, and visual content, and collaborated with environmental experts and organizations in Ukraine and Germany.
Truth to Justice tackles Russian disinformation and hybrid warfare through a powerful mix of journalism, research, and art. Rooted in Ukraine’s and Moldova’s frontline experiences, it brought together over 60 experts from 9 countries, reached 4,500+ online viewers, and hosted 200 guests in Berlin. With 250+ fellowship applicants, it supported 11 fellows who produced original research and artworks on resistance and truth. The project launched a growing international network to counter propaganda and strengthen democratic resilience across Europe.
The Deportation Awareness Project exposed Russia’s mass abduction of Ukrainian children through videos, ads, and public forums. Reaching over 770,000 people, with media coverage by ZDF, DW, Euronews, and 19 ad sites in Berlin, it turned silence into action.
Campaigns like Ukraine for Ecology, Bring Back Kids, Echoes of Empire, and Truth to Justice reached over 16 million people across platforms.
Raised together with ComeBackAlive, Prytula Foundation, and Bamberg:UA through 3 campaigns for urgent humanitarian needs.
Hosted talks, screenings, and forums on justice, disinformation, ecocide, memory politics, and human rights.
With your donation, you ensure that Ukraine remains visible in Germany thanks to Vitsche – loud, creative and unmissable.
